• User content: tips, comments, notes, photos, incident reports, and other content you submit.
• Device and usage data: device type, OS version, app version, language, crash logs, and interaction events (e.g. articles opened, mini player opened, profile chips pressed) used to improve the Service.
• Approximate location: country, region, and locality where you use the app, stored only when it changes, to surface relevant local content.
• Saved preferences: starred items, downloads, and settings synced to your account.

• Provide, maintain, and improve the Service.
• Personalize content and surface tips, articles, and updates relevant to your region.
• Sync your starred items, downloads, and settings across devices.
• Communicate with you about updates, security notices, and support requests.
• Detect, prevent, and address abuse, fraud, and technical issues.

You may submit anonymous tips without an account. Anonymous tips are not associated with a username, but limited technical metadata (such as approximate region) may still be stored to prevent abuse.

We retain information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time.

• Update your username and profile details in Settings.
• Manage downloads, starred items, and notifications in the app.

7. Children

ECHO* is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
